The "Schrättli" is the newest Saagenbier from Adler Bräu in Glarus and is only available during the summer months.
This beer is a Session IPA and is characterized by 100% refreshment, 100% hop aroma, and only 3.8% alcohol.
100% Refreshment - thanks to malt, wheat, and oats
This beer is brewed with malt, wheat, and oats. All grains together create a beer that offers a pleasant feeling of freshness.
100% Hop Aroma - but without bitterness
We searched long for the right hops and after some tests with Amarillo, Citra, and Cashmere found the perfect blend. This hop mixture gives the beer its distinctive fruity hop note. All hops are from a new generation and grow in Europe or North America.
No beer from Adler contains as much hops as the "Schrättli". To prevent the beer from becoming too bitter, we worked with the hop geeks from Brausyndikat and jointly developed a new process. This extracts all the fruity hop oils but reduces bitterness absorption during fermentation.
3.8% Alcohol - without compromise
This Session IPA has the same flavor intensity as a "normal IPA," thanks to the clever use of various grains and a new hop addition method, the beer lacks nothing and at 3.8% Vol. Alc. is simply easy to drink.
