Alpirsbacher Kloster Pils is a wonderfully lean and tart pilsner that shines clear in the glass with a fine, creamy, finger-thick layer of foam. The aroma is reminiscent of fresh white bread, a little pepper and fresh grass. The flavour is beautifully tart, with a subtle hint of malt. Herbal notes and a hint of grapefruit round off the profile, supported by fine and mild carbon dioxide. The bitterness is edgy and dry, and the lean body creates a long, tart finish on the palate.
