The first sip is pleasantly palatable, with the malt flavours clearly in the foreground. As it progresses, a pithy hop flavour unfolds, harmoniously accompanied by a light malty sweetness. This Bavarian festival beer, which is traditionally brewed especially for the Oktoberfest, is the ideal accompaniment to Weisswurst sausage with sweet mustard or pretzels. It is best enjoyed well chilled from a beer mug at a temperature of 7 to 9°C.
