Bosteels Kwak is a Belgian beer that impresses not only with its distinctive glass design and wooden stand but also with its exceptional flavor qualities. Since its invention in 1791 by brewer Pauwel Kwak, this beer has achieved cult status, not least because of the special Kwak glass, which only fits on the table with a wooden holder. Kwak presents itself in a beautiful amber to copper hue, topped with a large white foam. The aroma is characterized by sweet notes such as caramel, yeast, fruits, and spices. On the palate, it unfolds a sweet taste in which fruity nuances of plums and nuts harmonize with caramel malt. Despite its sweetness, the beer remains balanced, as a pleasant bitterness emerges during tasting, providing a rounded, mild drinking experience.
