Bosteels Kwak is a Belgian beer that not only impresses with its unmistakable glass design and wooden stand, but also with its exceptional flavour qualities. Since its invention in 1791 by brewer Pauwel Kwak, this beer has achieved cult status, not least because of the special Kwak glass, which only fits on the table with a wooden stand. Kwak presents itself in a beautiful amber to copper-coloured hue, topped with a large white head. The aroma is characterised by sweet notes such as caramel, yeast, fruit and spices. On the palate, it develops a sweet flavour in which fruity nuances of plums and nuts harmonise with caramel malt. Despite its sweetness, the beer remains balanced, as a pleasant bitterness emerges during the tasting and ensures a round, mild drinking experience.
