Chimay Première Rouge is a Belgian Trappist beer with an alcohol content of 7% vol. It is a top-fermented Dubbel with a deep, reddish-brown color and a balanced combination of malty sweetness and mild spiciness. The taste is characterized by caramel notes, a hint of dark fruits such as plums and raisins, as well as a gentle yeast aroma typical of Trappist beers. Despite its strong flavors, the beer remains pleasantly rounded and mild in the finish. The 75 cl bottle is especially suitable for sharing and offers a full-bodied enjoyment experience with traditional Belgian character.
