Erdinger Weissbier, the original since 1886, combines delicately spicy malt flavours with a mild hop bitterness. Its secret lies in the unique Erdinger brewing hops, which give the beer fruity notes and an unmistakably fresh flavour. Erdinger Weissbier is given the finishing touch by another speciality: the private brewery gives it time to mature. During traditional bottle fermentation, the beer can develop its wonderful effervescence and the harmonious interplay of flavours in peace and quiet. The addition of a second yeast culture creates a multi-layered flavour without clumping when the beer is poured. In addition, smaller and finer carbon dioxide bubbles ensure a wonderfully round mouthfeel with a pleasant tingling sensation. Without thermal heat treatment, the beer remains naturally rich in vitamins and ingredients.
