For the Astrum Pale Ale, the brewers have used the magnificent Galaxy hops, imported from Tasmania, Australia, for a beguiling citrus flavour. And the brewers have brought them together with the finest hops from Flanders to create a perfectly balanced brew. Notes of papaya, passion fruit, gooseberry and orange emphasise the crisp, vibrant character of Astrum and complement the distinct spicy notes and delicate, biscuity quality of our malts to create a smooth, refreshing brew.
The Astrum Pale Ale was developed and brewed in the new microbrewery "Grimbergen Abbey Brewery", which was built within the walls of the abbey. A place where tradition and innovation come together to create unique beers.
