Guinness Special Export is a classic Irish stout with a unique Belgian flavour that was specially developed for the Belgian market in the 1940s. It was the first Guinness beer to be served in Belgium after the Second World War. With its strong and complex flavour, it combines a distinct alcoholic sweetness with malty biscuit notes, while the taste remains full-bodied and smooth. Despite the higher alcohol content, the beer retains a pleasant sweetness that is accompanied by a lingering bitter aftertaste. Visually, Guinness Special Export has a deep, almost black colour and offers a full-bodied drinking experience that is made special by its Belgian-inspired flavour.
