Only the best raw materials are used in the production of Finnish Karhu Bär lager. The addition of selected malt and hops creates a delicately spicy beer with a colour reminiscent of copper.
The first Karhu beer wasbrewed in1920 in Pori. Initially only irregularly, then continuously from 1958. Due to the great popularity of Karhu in Finland and abroad, it has been brewed at the Sinebrychoff Brewery near Kerava near Lahti since 1991.
