Cherry Chouffe is a full-bodied Belgian cherry beer that is refined with real sour cherries and is known for its fruity flavours. With a deep dark red-brown colour and an ivory-coloured head, it exudes intense notes of maraschino cherries, caramel and sweet cherry syrup. The taste is soft and sweet, with fruity cherry flavours, a hint of strawberries and a malty note reminiscent of toast. A subtle spiciness and a subtle alcohol note, similar to sweet port wine, give the beer additional complexity before it ends in a fruity, slightly bitter finish.
