This powerful beer continues to mature after bottling, enhancing its complex aromas of banana, almond and vanilla. The taste is characterised by a malty sweetness, light roasted aromas and a pleasant bitterness that ends in a sweet aftertaste. With a moderate bitterness and balanced acidity, La Trappe Quadrupel is a rich and intense beer that is best enjoyed at a drinking temperature of 12°C.
