Liefmans Kriek Brut is a Belgian cherry beer brewed based on Oud Bruin and Flemish Red Brown and refined once a year with whole dark cherries. With 13 kilograms of cherries per hectoliter, the beer develops a refreshingly mild, fruity taste with a pleasant acidity. After an 18-month maturation, the complex aromas unfold, characterized by a combination of different malt varieties and the cherry. The reddish-brown beer with its delicate pink foam smells fresh and fruity, while its special character is appreciated worldwide.
