Liefmans Kriek Brut is a Belgian cherry beer brewed on the basis of Oud Bruin and Flemish Red Brown and refined once a year with whole dark cherries. With 13 kilos of cherries per hectolitre, the beer develops a refreshingly mild, fruity taste with a pleasant acidity. After 18 months of maturation, the complex flavours develop, which are characterised by a combination of different types of malt and the cherry. The reddish-brown beer with its delicate pink-coloured foam smells fresh and fruity, while its special character is appreciated worldwide.
