Modelo Negra is a full-bodied, dark lager from Mexico with an alcohol content of 5.3% by volume, bottled in the classic 35.5 cl bottle. This beer is characterised by its deep brown colour and a smooth, malty taste reminiscent of caramel and roasted malt. Negra Modelo combines light sweetness with a subtle hop bitterness, giving it a round and balanced character. Since its introduction in 1925, it has been one of Mexico's best-known beers and is often drunk with spicy dishes or simply as a refreshing, stand-alone treat.
