The Zwickelbier is brewed as a specialty beer; it is naturally cloudy and is tapped directly in the brewery's lager cellars by the brewers at the Zwickel tap (this is the name of the sampling tap on a beer storage tank).
It is therefore naturally cloudy, as in the past, when beer was still sold directly from breweries to consumers.
