Paceña is a Bolivian beer produced in La Paz, hence the name, which means La Paz.
The beer is produced by CBN (Cervecería Boliviana Nacional S.A.), a company dating back to 1877 that controls 80% of the Bolivian beer market. Paceña is produced at around 3600 metres above sea level using purified water from the Andes.
Paceña is one of several beer brands that make up Caboface, the Bolivian beer union.
