Cyclist without TOUR DE GENTS
Non-alcoholic beer is a popular thirst quencher among cyclists - it contains carbohydrates from malt and no granulated sugar. Because Gents products are bottled at Euelbräu in Winterthur, the idea of combining alcohol-free beer - with the finest flavour, of course - with a Gents product was in the air one day.
It took some time to find the right combination. Now the specially formulated Panaché or Radler is being launched, made from the popular Gents Bitter Lemon and a cold-hopped non-alcoholic beer from Euelbräu
(->cold hopping is the cold brew of the beer scene). The flavour is stunningly full yet fresh; the malt note complements the balanced lemon-lime mix of Gents Bitter Lemon and tart herbal extracts of gentian and meadowsweet, two herbs that are naturally found in lemonade. The flow and mouthfeel are like a strong beer, the full and tart flavour is complemented by a discreet citrus note on the tongue and the finish is hoppy and herbal. Perfect as a thirst quencher and as an accompaniment to food.
