Tecate was born in the western bicultural borderlands of Baja California, Mexico, was originally founded in 1944 as the perfect thirst quencher for the mountain people in the area.
We are still proudly brewed in our namesake town of Tecate, using the same high quality recipe. Tecate Original is a full-bodied lager with a refreshing crisp malt flavour and a pleasant aftertaste - just as a Mexican cerveza should be.
