Tiger Lager is a bright lager beer from Singapore, produced since 1932 by Asia Pacific Breweries Ltd. It is characterized by its golden color and a refreshing taste, achieved through a special brewing method: in addition to water, barley malt, and hops, cane sugar is also used, giving the beer a slightly sweet note. As the first beer brewed in Saigon, Tiger Lager received international recognition and awards as early as 1939.
