Timmermans Schaarbeek Kriek Griotteke is a traditional Kriekenlambic, created by macerating sour cherries in aged Lambic. The months-long maturation in the barrel gives it a complex aroma of fruity acidity and subtle woody notes. After the second fermentation, the cherry lambic is blended with young Lambic, resulting in a complex Gueuze variant with natural effervescence. The intense cherry fruitiness harmonizes with the fine acidity of the Lambic, providing a refreshingly dry finish.
