Tuborg Gold Pilsner was launched in Denmark in 1895 and was originally intended for export. However, the beer also proved to be a great success in Denmark. Known as "The Golden Lady" since the adverts in the late 1950s featuring model and actress Anette Strøyberg, Tuborg Gold exudes elegance, dignity and a subtle appearance that conceals a pleasant sweetness. It is brewed from pure lager malt and has an inviting flavour of fruit and grain with notes of fennel. The beer offers an excellent balance between dry fullness, livelinessand a subtle hop character, making it a real pleasure to drink.
