Westmalle Extra is a golden blonde Trappist beer with a low alcohol content of 4.8%, yet it impresses with a surprisingly full-bodied taste. It is very refreshing and thirst-quenching, offering a typical Westmalle flavor experience with its fruity notes and rich aroma. This beer is one of the oldest of the Westmalle Abbey and dates back to 1836, when the monks began brewing a light, tasty beer for their own use. From this tradition, Westmalle Extra was born, which still bears the monks' signature to this day.
