Störtebeker Amber Wheat is a natural, top-fermented yeast wheat beer that continues the long tradition of North German brewing since the Hanseatic era. Originally, in Northern Germany, people switched from dark or red beers to "white" or wheat beers to captivate the international export markets of the Hanseatic League with new creations. The Störtebeker Brewing Manufactory continues this tradition and brews Amber Wheat, the most popular wheat beer in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. With an original gravity of 12.9% and an alcohol content of 5.3% vol., this beer impresses with its fresh, fruity character and should ideally be served at a serving temperature of 10°C.
